Sundays
In current circumstances, we are using Zoom to connect together on Sundays. The meetings will still be recorded and uploaded onto the website under the AM Celebration podcast feed. Each week we will also share the slides from the meeting, so you can go over them and use it in your times with the Lord throughout the week.
Below is the link to connect in on Sundays. So join us at 10:30am from wherever you are via https://zoom.us/j/831517712?pwd=Z3pSSEJiR3MxNlhjTTZQYzBUVTQvUT09.
If you have a personal Zoom account or app on your device, please make sure you are logged out before clicking the link to join. This should avoid you having to fill in meeting ID and password. Email office@cotnjubilee.co.uk if you have any questions.
This past Sunday, Darren and Ray shared with us on the Holy Spirit in the light of John 7:37-39, which talks about streams of living water. We were encouraged to “believe and come and drink”. Darren also reminded us that “we do not walk by feelings, but we walk by faith”. The Holy Spirit is at work, even if we can’t always feel it.
Ray shared a word on “turning point”, encouraging us that God is doing something new that will only happen by the power of the Holy Spirit. Hazel added to that by sharing that this turning point is on a personal level, as well as a Church family level. A deeper relationship with Christ and understanding of who He is will leave our lives changed. We are each challenged with the question: “What does this turning point mean for me in this season of my life? What is God doing that is taking me to a deeper level of knowing Him?”
Do you have a specific testimony about anything you experienced or anything the Lord showed you during last Sunday morning’s celebration? Please send in a 1-2 minute video to office@cotnjubilee.co.uk.

Conversations with …

This week’s topics:
“Revelation, Antichrist, the end of the world and the virus” with Neil, Louise Buys, Mark Biddlecombe and Charis Thompson | Tuesday 19th May 12:30pm
The session is designed to put minds at rest and give us a confidence to look forward to the second coming of Christ with peace and hope for the future. If you want to look at some of the key Bible passages beforehand, they are listed below.
Matthew 24:6-8: “You will be hearing of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.”
Revelation 16:8-9: “The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.”
1 John 2:18: “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.”
“Cooking with Susie” with Susie Steele | Wednesday 20th May 12:30pm

Words of life – Encouragements from the Word
Throughout the week, there will be words of encouragements shared on the website and Facebook. These are just one way to spur one another on to truth and hope in Christ Jesus. Use these as a foundation for your times with God or conversations with others during the week.
Although we are physically separated at this time, we are one in the Spirit and members one of another (Romans 12:5). Let us spur one another on in our faith and pursuit of the Lord.

Family Weekend Away – Update
As I am sure many of you will have suspected, we will not be going ahead with the Jubilee Family Weekend, originally booked in for 26-28 June 2020.
We can now confirm that the venue has kindly agreed to postpone our booking to the weekend of 24th June 2022 (in two years’ time). 2021 was already booked up and as we wanted to have a summer booking we have taken the weekend in 2022.
The payments Jubilee has already made to the venue will not be refunded but held on deposit. Therefore, we are also proposing to hold any moneys you might already have paid and use this to secure your place in 2022. If you are happy with this, you do not need to do anything at this stage. However, we understand that for some of you, finances are tight in light of the circumstances and you may prefer to have your money back and re-book at a later stage. If this is the case, please email office@cotnjubilee.co.uk with your full name, amount to be repaid and bank details. We will verify the amounts before refunding.
