MEET THE TEAM

Neil and Hazel have worked in church leadership since 1994. Neil was born and bred in Watford, Herts, and Hazel is a local Maidstone lass. They are proud of their four grown up children and enjoy large extended family holidays.

Since meeting on a YWAM discipleship year course in 1986, Neil and Hazel have developed a passion for Jesus’ church. Their desire is to help and encourage the church become all that God wants her to be. Neil and Hazel enjoy the privilege of working together as the lead couple in Jubilee.

Darren originates from London and Ruth grew up in Cornwall. They met at Maidstone College of Art before going to work creatively in London. Their commitment to live in Maidstone and work locally came from being part of Jubilee Church since the mid 1980’s. They are very proud of their two girls now growing up into young adults as they make their own life choices and decisions.

A sense of family and the church being together is very close to Darren and Ruth’s hearts, and encouraging others is one of their greatest passions and priorities.

Marcel and Carol Jung are both originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, arriving in the UK in December 1999 as part of a Church of the Nations church plant. Marcel established his accounting practice in 2004 while Carol is a full time mum to their two Maidstone born daughters.

Marcel is responsible for overseeing the administration and finances of Jubilee and related ministries.

Carol has recently started realising her creativity through jewellery design and personalised machine embroidery.

Andy and Barbara are local Maidstone folk, born and bred, and met each other in their teens. Their four grown up children have flown the nest and now Andy and Barbara are enjoying the new role of doting grandparents. Andy has been involved in church leadership for several decades and enjoys full time work in the project management industry. Barbara is passionate about the church and, in her professional life, about education.

Siji and Ibi originate from sunny Lagos, Nigeria and are parents to two wonderful children.

Siji has a long track record in church leadership and project management, specialising in change management. Ibi loves to cook and runs her own catering business. They live to see the Church grow and flourish across the world.
