Habitation: Youth Time Out!

Habitation: Youth Time Out!

Last Sunday, Wikus and Youth Time Out explored why the Bible is unlike any other book! This week we’ll be doing a Youth Alpha session called ‘Why did Jesus die?’ Let’s encourage our kids to tackle some of these fundamental truths – and they can ask as many questions as they like!

Mosaic

Mosaic

Life is like a mosaic.

We all come from different life paths, backgrounds and cultures to create something diverse, wonderful and new. We are a group of older people that have a passionate desire to reach out to the community with the love of Christ and add value to peoples’ lives. Our heart is to build community together and offer a safe, nurturing and welcoming place for us older folk to gather.

As we are the fastest-growing age demographic in our society and in many churches, we believe our life experience is invaluable to church life as a whole – a “hidden treasure”! We see this as an ideal opportunity for us to come together, and reach an unsaved, wider, senior community! At present we are more Jubilee Church focused, but things are in motion to reach the community around us.

At MOSAIC, we want to facilitate a sensitive and open communication of the Gospel to unsaved people. Forming strong friendships with one another, with like-minded organisations in our local community and to encourage each other to push deeper into a relationship with God. We believe that it’s never too late for God to transform lives, at whatever stage of life.

We trust that MOSAIC will be a tool that God will use to serve the older and more mature generation both in and outside of Jubilee – without strings attached. We are trusting that all will experience the love of God and have a life-changing encounter with JESUS!

We want to see the lost, older generation come to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour!

Flame Christian Foundations

Flame Christian Foundations

A bit about us

We (Ray & Jacqui) were married in April 1983 and have three children and five grandchildren. We have been walking with the Lord since May 1988.

Over the years in our walk with Jesus, Jacqui and I have experienced many moves of the Holy Spirit.  We have been comforted by him after the death of our eldest son, we have experienced him in personal healings and seen many signs and wonders, including coming back to the body of Christ after our own ‘prodigal son’ experience and to Jesus, we are truly thankful for the people he has made us today!

One of our firm beliefs as a couple is that we are able to reach our fullest potential, predestined by God, if we are obedient to His word, operate through the power of His Holy Spirit, and yield to his transformation process daily – until we reflect Christ Jesus. It is through this belief, and a heart for the church, that Flame Christian Foundations was birthed. We want to see our family in Christ encouraged and built up so that they can reach their full potential and walk in their God-given destiny. We want to see people ‘live life and operate in the Spirit’ (Rom 8).  To help motivate our local congregation to spiritual maturity in Christ (Eph 4:11-13), young and old alike until we reflect Christ.

Flame Christian Foundations

Flame Christian Foundations is a ministry primarily set up to feed, take care of, encourage and build up the body of Christ, as Jesus instructed Peter in John 21:15-17 “Feed my lambs – Take care of my sheep – Feed my sheep”and in 2 Timothy, Paul calls us to fan into flame the gift of God which is in us:
2 Timothy 1:6 “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Flame workshops

  1. Christianity for Beginners – designed for new believers and covers the basic Christian foundations.
  2. Fan into Flame: Life in the Spirit – designed to help believers in their walk to maturity in Christ Jesus.

If you’re interested in either of these courses, please contact Ray via email: ray.skilton@cotnjubilee.co.uk
